Default will an ebay store posible? my inventory sold better as store listings

the kind of stuff i was selling sold much better in the ebay store format. 11 cents a month per item was a really good price. from what i see it is going to be really hard to get another ebay store opened as you HAVE to link it to paypal. anyone have any luck getting a store opened after a suspension?

Eleven cents per item + store fee + huge final value fee + poor exposure + ebay sucks.

You do the math. Ebay stores are ok for the free month. Use it to build recognition and then move on. If you stick with them, you're just wasting your money imo.

depends what you're selling i guess. i had a warehouse full of mechanical replacement parts. sort if stuff you only look for when you need it. 1000's of items. if i had to list each one at auction the fees would kill me. store listigs moved pretty steadily all the time

i totally agree with you.. store inventory is a very good option if u know wat u r doing... another tip is to use alot of hidden image description.. that attracts google and other search engines... i used to do a combo of store and auction.. the strategy is drive traffic to ur store from auction whic has 7 day time limit .. then display relavant items below or mention if u donot want to wait for the auction use buy it now visit my store... that says everything...

i dont recall that store needed paypal.. as i used it on one of my accounts which was not linked on paypal...

i have been reading up on it and ebay says you need a paypal account in good standing. maybe there is a way around it.

Have you tried listing these same items on your website? Google works the same and shows no favoritism toward ebay now (in fact sometimes it's the opposite). I'm not telling you how to do your business, but I'll bet you'll have the same success with specialty items if not more if you concentrate on the website and just use ebay to drive traffic to your website.

I did really well with eBay stores. It's just about all I did because I had so many auctions to list. Literally thousands!
