Re: Anyone received CCNow payment recently?
I have also had a bad experience, they owe me 9.5k usd. And exactly same things as all responses above, Bill Wysocki at CCNOW stopped replying after he used up all the excuses of no bank transfer via ACH, change of bank, change to wire, etc. Just prolongs time. Complained to CCNOW, they do nothing. Looks like Bill was running a boiler room / ponzi scheme. They work with you for around 1 or 2 or 3 years paying you out so you get sucked in to using them, and when they accrue over 2k+ usd they stop paying out. Stop responding.
There are several things to note. They have virtual office in USA, and actual office in Iceland. Iceland is under EU courts, minimum claim is 2000 euro and above.
In Iceland debt collection is possible and will most likely proceed by court only as monetary collection is only enforceable by court action. Hence why CCNOW is probably registered in Iceland. Unless you have a claim of 3500euro, it may be not worth your time and costs to prosecute in iceland.
However, my claim is over double and I will prosecute them this year, even if all the claim goes on court costs.
Any other small claims, will be unsuccessful / or cost more than the claim, therefore CCNow will not payout and that is their mode of operation.
My suggestion, would be for all other people who are owed money by CCNow to form an alliance / group/ organisation, then you can pursue CCNow as a single body, that may hurt them.... Also some newspaper and tv coverage in Iceland of the ponzi scam run by CCNow would benefit all of us, if only more people would write into icelandic newspapers... I will be doing so. Newspaper articles can be retrieved on the internet for a long time usually.
I am also welcome to suggestions for further action.
