Default Paypal documents submitted

So I got the e-mail for the £2,500 a year money laundering message.

I uploaded documents for my stealth account, a driving licence and a utility bill.

I uploaded these documents on the 15th.

When I went into the resolve page after I submitted them it said, thank you we will be in touch within a few days.

Now when I click resolve it allows me to upload the documents again, like I haven't already done so.

Is this a bad sign?

I thought they would have looked over them by now

I think your best option is to phone them all innocent and ask what the problem is.

Usually, if they think the documents are dodgy, they block your account so when you log in it says 'You can't use PP anymore'

It may just be a technical glitch.
Another reason it may be is because the scan or photo quality of the document(s) was too poor for them.

LOL you need to stop telling people to call in!

I think there was a glitch where the docs submitted needed to be submitted again - I'm sure I read it in another thread.

On the other hand its nothing to worry about. If your docs weren't good and they had reviewed them they'd have limited your account

So true. And the more you call the more comfortable you get and you can start solving your problems by your self and not have to depend on others or services for those types of problems.

Seems like not sure what's paypal upto

Created ebay account and then paypal which created personal so wanted to upgrade to business and it given option to create new business account

Anyway created new account and it was asking for Id proof of ownership etc which was sent to them and next day they sent messge paypal need to verify Id as by law 2500 euros bla bla and underneath it Says this limitation can't be appealed

Sametime they also asked id on personal paypal which accepted next day

So I added Id again on business paypal called them up they said it's still under review it's been 2 days

What do u think guys is this a glitch or normal ?

Could be a glitch, just try uploading them again.

It's not scary to call ebay/paypal, but you never know who is on the other side of the phone. Could be a nice rep willing to accept the docs immediately or a rep who had a bad day who wants to limit your account no matter what. You never know who will answer the phone and it's best to limit the amount of risk you take on the account.

Agreed about the reps.

In my experience, if I am calling about an issue that could go either way... if I don't like the response I end the call and call again.

The other day I was on the phone for a FULL HOUR arguing about removing a defect. I, on the other hand, had a terrible day and was just in a bad mood as well. I argued and argued and demanded a supervisor lol. I ended the call and called back, got the defect removed in 5 minutes with the second rep.
