Default New Paypal, invoice for $500-600?

Hi guys,
Never done this before as I always sold $5-10 items on Ebay before receiving money... but I need to invoice a customer $500-$600. I have a fresh Paypal account that I never used. How risky is it to make one invoice for $550 for the first transaction ever on Paypal?

PayPal doesn't like anomalies / spikes in any form of activity you carry out on their site - they deem it high risk. So doing anything out of the ordinary is strongly frowned upon as it will most probably lead to limitations.

Your question isn't clear. Either you want to accept $500/$600 on a fresh new PayPal, or on one that has taken sales for around $5 - $10 items. Either way, your likely to face suspension due to it being a far larger sum than you've ever done before.

It's risky, if $500 is big amount of money for you and you don't want to hold them - better to choose another option (if you have it).

It is a risk yes.

You may well be OK and get away with it or you may get some sort of limitation. It will depends on how well made your account is and how good the customer who is sending you the money account is.

Is your account bank verified?
