PayPal suspended, owed eBay fees, PayPal now reinstated, can I get eBay back?

Hey all,

My PayPal was limited a while back which caused me to go delinquent on my eBay fees.

I recently it got my PayPal sorted out with them after a lot of back and forth which is great news, I have PayPal again! However, my eBay account was suspended for being delinquent on those fees.

Does anyone know if I can be successful in getting my eBay account back if I call them up and explain that I couldn't pay because I was suspended, but PayPal reinstated my account so I can pay the fees again?

How much did you owe? The less you owe the more likely things will go smoothly as far as reinstatement. EBay will tell you all you have to do is pay your fees and they will reinstate your account, but there's no 100% guarantee especially if you owed a significant amount of money.

It's just under $1,000, does that count as significant?

They were telling me they could reinstate my account for some time but I wasn't able to get the PayPal reinstated until just recently. Now the emails are no longer saying that.

we cannot tell you how it will go - it does not matter what they say, it is a gamble.....

whenever I forgot to pay, and paid it then I got the account back, but there was nothing else wrong with acc apart from fees issue..........
also if you wait too long and it stops sending you pay fees email, then acc may be NARU.....

I've had problems like this and paid the bill even a year later and was immediately reinstated, but I just did it, I didn't call, so no humans were involved.

Can't say what would happen in your case. If the account is worth 1K try it, if not start over.
