 Old eBay account included in chapter 7, will that affect new account?
Hello everyone, I am new to this site and happy to have found it. I had an eBay account a few years ago that had an outstanding balance of several hundred dollars in fees that I included and was discharged in my chapter 7 bankruptcy. I have opened a new account last year and it has been without issue so far, in my real name, real address, all info same as before and so far, no issues. My selling limits are 1000/50k and I have been selling for 5 months now and hitting that limit every month. I am worried that they haven't yet realized I am back! Legally, once a debt is discharged in BK, they cannot harass me or even talk to me about it so I am wondering if I am okay? Does anyone know if I should be okay and not have to worry about them closing my new account because of outstanding debt on the old account that was discharged in BK? Thanks for any input. I plan to buy a few stealth account and start to nurse them just in case.
