Default CCNOW and Paypal dispute resolution

When buyers pay with Paypal through CCNOW, how does CCNOW handle the disputes from the whining PITA type buyers?

I'm told the PP payments go to CCNOW's account - so do they fight them on our behalf?

I guess I'm thinking mainly of the whiney BS SNAD disputes --- since bogus INR disputes are easily resolved with tracking info.

Do you get a chance to tell your side and have CCNOW fight a SNAD for you?

usually i just say that i am re-shipping an item to the buyer and close the dispute on the ccnow side. the paypal side will eventually close becuase with ccnow SNAD paypal claims 99% favor with you not the buyer. as long as you have delivery confirmation you should be protected with ccnow, however a chargeback will leave you dead in the water much like paypal.

ebaykilla, then it sounds like CCNOW is classed as off-ebay, which sellers don't have to deal with "not as described" disputes.

correct; the transactions are always listed as "goods" in paypal for ccnow.

It is not as easier as you guys think. My customer bought an item with me last week and it arrived in good condition yesterday. He filed a complaint of "Not As Described" with his paypal , but i am sure all my description is 100% as described. He just don't like the item when he got it. There are ONLY TWO options with CCNOW. 1) Give buyer a full refund after he shipped the goods back. 2) Refund the money.

So they are just a computer system ? No real ccnow person will review your case?

a real person only gets involved from time to time but the paypal disputes are easy to beat on ccnow. just agree to give a refund if they return it then magically it will close in 24 hrs

i have had rare occasions with few buyers who will contact ccnow directly and make return demands..at that point ccnow will force them to give you a tracking number for the return.

Hey. Has anyone ever had an "unauthorized" dispute with ccnow? I accepted a ccnow payment from a customer who paid via paypal. Everything went well (or so I thought), and I shipped the item with delivery confirmation to the address they had on file with ccnow. Now those funds are being held in my ccnow account pending review. It says it was raised by paypal. I contacted the buyer, and she said, that she never filed any dispute against me, and that paypal initiated the claim on their own (telling her that it was a security measure). Is this possible? They said I had 3 days to resolve the inquiry, and asked for tracking info (which I immediately provided). Now I have already shipped out her purchase, and added the tracking info to ccnow, but the funds from the sale still aren't being shown as returned to my account. When will they be back, or do I need to do something else? Any insight is helpful, as I'm pretty new to ccnow. Thanks!

This means paypal limted the buyers account and they steal any money that buyer has paid to the sellers. U will probly lose your money and items cause ccnow will not fight for u at all. the same thing happend to me on ccnow i just issued a refund.

I had a pp account in the past where where i bought a ps2 from a ebay seller i paid him $120 then 2-3 days later he was just about to send the item off then paypal limted my account and stole the money from he saying it was unauthorized and he almost shipped out the item but lucky he didnt or he would had lost money and item.

When dealing with paypal and your customer gets limted they can and will steal money back from all the sellers that they paid.

Just used CCNow to pay for an item one and a half month ago, item not received, seller provided ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking numbers, dispute paypal, no message received, claim after 2 days, seller again cheated with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking number, paypal reversed payment within 3 days.

If seller continue his/her business in that way, I think he/she will be toasted soon. (CCNow doesn't mean you can steal shoppers' money without fear.)

Even for SNAD, shoppers can dispute with CC, paypal offers no seller protection as well for payments from CCNow.
