Default PayPal fees and the 21 Day Hold

Hello everyone, do you know if PayPal takes your first month fees out of your pending balance or do you have to find a way to add some money to the account before the fees hit? What happens if you don't have funds available by the time they charge you, can they take it directly out of your pending balance?

Thanks in advance.

Are you meaning eBay fees? They won't take them automatically from anywhere.

They don't charge you automatically? I seem to remember them doing that when I was selling a lot on eBay a few years back, and they would withdraw from my bank account if I didn't have a sufficient PayPal balance. I'm just worried about them trying to withdraw money from a VBA and limiting the account or something awful like that when they realize the bank account bounces their request.

If the funds in the paypal account have not cleared the hold period they will NOT be taken towards those ebay fees payment. You need to have cleared funds in there or a they will attempt to use any attached method of payment you have on there - VCC or Bank account (or VBA). If those methods do not have enough funds to cover the fees they will be removed from the paypal account and the account can then run into issues that will result in a limitation.
The ebay invoice usually comes at least several weeks after you make your first sale. It then takes an additional 2 weeks or so for the payment to be taken out. This means that you have plenty of time to make a sale and have the funds cleared (assuming you upload tracking to have the funds released sooner than the full 21 days) and available for payment of ebay fees.

The short answer is pp fee is deducted when u receive the payment and ebay fee is deducted every month around 15th and they will not use the money hold by pp.
