Default Below standard

I fell below standard too, my defect rate was 6% and I was given 4 months to bring it back to above standard

I've done my best to bring it down to 2.45%(sales slowed down), I'm in the 4th month and i will be evaluated in a week time, how many sales do i need to bring it above standard

Since you are "below standard" you will get charged a higher final value fee of 4% extra. So you are paying 14% to ebay. Move on to a new account.

Yeah I would suggest to creat a new account if your current account has less than 100 feedbacks. It does not worth it to make it above standard

I do not think you will get a ban. I also had an account below the standard level and then I again received new defects on my merchant account, but eventually I went to the normal level.

Very unlikely you will get banned, you may face some more enhanced selling restrictions.

That's why we always recommend back-up accounts for several reasons.

Just move on to another account while this one cools down.

It took me about three months.
I already wanted to abandon and forget this account, but it has high sales limits, so I was patient.
The only drawback was that ebay banned sending goods to the eBay global shipping center.

You won't get banned anymore. Soon you'll get an extra fee ( tho I thought that was only 2%). You have as long as you need, as long as you don't do anything ELSE wrong.

Their selling restrictions are harsh at the best of times. As most people have suggested, it's better to move on to a new account.

If it's an account that has a high feedback value and that you would like to keep alive, then the best thing you can do is work to receive positive feedback from your sales and work to bring it back to Above Standard or equivalent.

You'll also be charged a higher rate of fees and subject to holds, so it's not worth selling anything of high value on there until things have improved.

You will not be allowed to create listings in certain categories, also your limits on how many items and how much $ worth of items you can sell will likely be further restricted. It has taken me 12 months to get out of below standard because they placed restrictions making it impossible to be judged on 3 month basis....

Those are old rules, not new. The ONLY restrictions thus far are lower search results. Probably no ability to increase limits.

Wow
I thought as much
I use to sell 300 items per day but since i went below standard i hardly sell 10 items per day, when i search to see my listing, i would go through 600 items without seeing my listing

It's been a hard time for me

They gave me 4 months to get above standard but I'm in the 4th month and i will still be below standard, so what you're saying is that i won't be banned ??

you won't be banned AS LONG AS you don't do anything else wrong. And even then, maybe not, unless it's really bad. But if you don't get anymore defects, you'll be fine.

Also, the weird thing is, every time I got below standard, my sales went up....

20th of every month evaluates the 1-30th of the previous month.

Yes. The way it works is, that they give 20 days to allow for any issues to arise, from the transactions from the past month. So the 4/20 evaluation, evaluated you on things that happened between 3/01-3/31

What exactly are your defects. Show a screen shot of your dashboard
