Mom's account linked to my suspended account
Okay I had a long run on eBay. My main account had a 30,000 feedback score with a blue shooting star and I had another account that had 7,000 score with a green star. Anyways I got suspended indefinitely about 4 years ago for uploading ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking information. What happened was at the time in order to get top rating seller discounts you had to upload tracking within 24 hours but I started doing dropshipping at that time and I usually didn't get the tracking until 48 hours so I would upload a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ number and then replace it with the legit one after I got it.
I got away with this for about 4 or 5 months and then I was indefinitely suspended.
Anyways about two years ago I sold something on my mom's account and I had the payment go to my PayPal email address. I got an email from eBay saying the accounts have been linked and they were lowering my limit to $750/10 items a month.
Why did eBay limit my mom's account to $750 instead of indefinitely suspend my mom's account. If they let the account somewhat get away with it by not terminating the listings and giving it a seller limit (although low) does that mean I would be to register a new account under my name?
