Default Ebay Fees, Paypal Rejected

My paypal account recently got taken down, I left enough money inside for fees + £90 that i have to wait 6 months for. When ebay tried to bill me, paypal refused, and I can't pay the fees. Why would they do that...as I won't be paying out of anything apart from the limited paypal.

Ebay can't take the fees if the paypal is limited.

You need to pay the fees manually using a vcc.

That's a really stupid thing of ebay to do. Because of this, I won't be paying fees, and ebay can will waste their time, as I left enough for fees as I'm generally honest. Thanks anyway.

Just a side note, if you do not pay the ebay fee and they start to collect fees from you, they will be able to collect from a limited PP.

Your decision in the end to make but ppl who don't pay fees are making it harder and harder for other sellers as time goes on

I am not a fan of not paying ebay fees. It is fair to say that you have to pay to play the game. But in circumstances like this, when the OP has set the funds aside for ebay and then paypal limits the account (regardless of reason) then ebay can either wait or pound sand.

I believe ebay could get the fees and paypal could allow it but they choose not to to make it more difficult on the seller.

I know some might disagree with that, but that is how I feel

@OP, also note, that not paying the fees will cause the ebay account to suspend and hopefully this is not using someone's real information

Exactly my point, generally I'll always pay my fees, but when paypal/ebay expect me to pay fees then wait 6 months for money that was already set aside, it's their problem. I'm willing to let the account go, as the paypals gone anyway. And it's all stealth, nothing real.
