Using the apps is dangerous!
Just part of an article I was reading today...
"...... Uber was trying to prevent fraudsters from creating multiple ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts on the same device to collect new account bonuses, but to do this it had been recording the UUID serial numbers of iPhones so that it could identify them even after the app had been deleted and the phone wiped."
This was part of an article about the risks one of the executives at Uber took, and how they got caught tracking the phones of it's users. It's not that Fleabay would do the same thing and track users physically, but that if an app CAN give permissions to see and record serial numbers, then I'm sure both the Fleabay and PP apps do. They might use it on the record or off, but I'm sure if it's available to them, they do it on some level.
I see new people keep asking if the apps are safe, and well you can bet I won't use them. An app gives a lot of permissions to your device and info that a web browser doesn't.
