why does paypal transactions appear as ATM withdrawal on my bank statement? anyone has had this problem...every time i purchase something i get charged $1.20

I see you're in Pakistan, not sure how things work there, but if you have your debit/atm card as the funding source for your purchases- maybe your bank is treating these transactions as such?

Your bank would not even be involved at all if you were using some other source of funding, or your money already in Paypal.
