I found this service online they give a an 800 number which you could have forwarded to any number (your real number) Is it a good idea to have an 800 number or should we stick with aim?

I've used 866 888 800 numbers for 50% of my accounts (which isn't that much, maybe 5 or so at max) and there wasn't really a problem. Except that one customer called me once and it was Pizza Hut and she reported me for incorrect contact information - and I had to buy a number from Skype :(. So, just choose your toll free number carefully.

privatephone worked great for me. No chance of duplicates and you get your own real private line where people can leave messages. I use it as an alternate business line now.
