I got my paypal verified without using Credit Card??

Hello, I just setup my new pp account for my second eBay account using my friend's name.
As in the title, I got verified after I confirm my bank account.

Should I put in my credit card before start selling on eBay? Or should I just leave it.

If only bank account is all I needed to verify my account, it would be much much easier to make more stealth account.

I'm from Thailand btw
