Does anyone know what happen in this case ? | hmm... am I right in saying the customer paid via PayPal (and used their card as a funding source), and you have refunded the client via PayPal, and PayPal has returned funds to their debit card which is no longer active?
If so, I presume since its a debit card, there a bank account attached to the card, so tell the client to call their bank and reallocate the funds to their new debit card.
Usually when a bank (at least here in the UK) receives a refund, for a card no longer active, they store it in an isolated account for it to be claimed by the account holder, before returning it to the sender if unclaimed.
