Can you get limited by sending money as a friend?

i am paying for an item from a friend its £9 and wanted to ask could i get limited for sending payment as a friend from my stealth account?

Sending as friend/fam is acceptable as long as it is done 1-2x per mo according to Paypal law. Just kidding, I made up that law.

Do it more than once, and youll definitely raise red flags As they will be cause for them to think youre trying to bypass their fees.

Yeah i will agree all replies.. there is a limit that you can send money to friends and family.. if you sending 1 or 2 times its ok.

say if i do buy something else from him 1-2 months later and send him money again as a friend would i get caught?

also how do paypal know the difference if you are actually sending money to a friend or buying something and paying as a friend?

They don't really know, but the fact that they are not getting any fees is what usually triggers it.

So I think that if you intentionally wants to bypass their fees, eventually, you'll get caught.

From my experience if F/F payments are less than 10% of total outcome, then accounts does not get limited.

Do it time and time again from PayPal 1 to PayPal 2 then you can get limited for it sometimes yes.

As a one off though its fine

I'm sending money to my suppliers as F/F transfers from 4 stealth PayPal accounts for 1-2 years for now (5-10 transactions a day sometimes). None of them was limited till now. One account was limited and lost recently after sudden raise of income, unfortunately.

How about using a different method to send the money instead of paypal?

like bank transfer or sending in a scanned check?
