Default Do you think PayPal know who you really are?

I mean they can sense if you are using stealth. Loadoo car for example can be a redflag or yellow flag. Also they can know if an bank account is VIRTUAL or MAIN account. But do they really know when you signed up for a new account. Like by fingerprinting your machine, but pretending they dont when they do not see any risk?

Does anybody have proof for this? Like maybe he had 20 stealth account and got them limited at once when he was still new, even for 10-15$ payments? Even if he used diff IPs,etc?

I always fear that they can fingerprint your computer.
I made several user accounts on my laptop but I am always fearing they know its ultimately the same computer.
Anyone else want to chime in.

If you take the time to research what you're actually doing, you wont have an issue my friend. People who 'block' browsers from detecting certain values are not being stealthy, they are making themselves stand out. Regular computer users would never do this, you need to SPOOF your fingerprint..

Or..

Use a virtual machine, simple.

Using a virtual machine can't help so much if they can fingerprint your computer. Why? because is the same computer.
Using a VM on a hosted server is another deal.

Again, incorrect information. A VM will give you a new computer with new addresses and all, no need for a hosted server.

I created a VM and played a little bit. Same CPU serial, same BIOS serial, same HDD serials... do you get me?
If you have 20 VM they will have the same WEBGL fingerpint for example.

You do understand that can ALL be spoofed right?

http://webkay.robinlinus.com/

Using a VM eliminates ANY AND ALL links via web trackers like cookies. It also allows you to keep a constant history of cookies right from creating the account till 5 years down the line. Meaning, you will RARELY have issues sending/withdrawing or face forced password resets/unauth account limits. It also allows you to EASILY MANAGE multiple accounts without having to worry about linking via cookies/clearing cookies etc etc.. Using most browsers you can spoof your resolution, time, fonts, plugins, GPU/CPU, OS, browser literally everything.

You can sit here debating, or you can listen to somebody who knows, in depth and with experience. Go read up on what I have spoke about and educate yourself for the better.

As you said. You need to install VM then spoof. But you can do the same with different usernames.

The question is if they can still know it is you by others leaks. Many people say they can just know it is your machine.

If your were PayPal you wouldn't play very hard. You always need to have some good cards in your hand. A thief can come and if he knows he needs to do a,b,c,d,e then he can get away with it. However if he know from stealth guys only about a,b,c ... PayPal will use d and e to come after him.

I can assure you, we can accurately guess how they track users. If they were to use something like a 0day, which would be say a backdoor in a certain manufactures computers or a piece of hardware it would not only be illegal but very stupid, given when it finally does come out that company would face a very, very harsh backlash both from the consumer and the law.

If you think there is some 'secret ID code' on every computer I would say you're wrong, because it would of been exposed to a degree. I dont know about you but I built my computer, I bought different pieces of hardware from different stores and put it together like lego. I dont see, how it would be physically possible for them to relate who I am and this 'magical' ID code which may or may not exist.

I think, paranoia is taking over a little bit dude. If PayPal cannot legally obtain the real name/address of our bank accounts linked to stealth accounts, I am fairly certain this speculation you discuss is not really a realistic thing.

If you're scared, go out and buy a Macbook Pro. Ensure your metadata is clean, there is a very, very low chance of you being linked when using such a widely used laptop.

if you ever want to prove they know its simple go to gyft.com and use your multi windows users different IPS and all otehr stealth tactics and watch gyft.com tell you to screw off. if gyft who is nobody has the tech, you better believe ebay does and of course we know amazon probably owns all the companies above and all companies that we use to stealth them.. long story short if you can beat gyft you can beat anyone, that is a fact

Are you talking specifically about this;

Sorry, it appears you are located outside the United States. Gyft is currently only available in the United States. Please check our help center for additional information.
On gyft?

By knowing some tricks. For example webgl was a good one, you can fingerprint the graphic card. Some people say they just know it,but the only care in case of high frauds or when they consider you risky.

Maybe they do a WHOIS check on your IP.
Have you managed to buy once but not second time? then it's browser/computer fingerprinting.

For certain they do, most sites do to be fair. I block all VPN purchases on my site because it holds a higher risk of fraud, I target normal everyday people.. Not those that want to hide behind a VPN/Proxy.

Regardless, the general user would not have a clue on how/where to obtain a Residential Proxy so they hide under the false sense that the average proxy/vpn is 'stealth' when it really is not, its very, very, very easy to distinguish between a datacenter IP and a Residential IP.

I guarantee every single proxy/VPN seller on this site sell datacenter IP's, these are well known to PayPal and if they really wanted to they could purge every single account holder who use them but they dont.. That shows you, that unless you're really trying to **** people over they will let it slide.

PayPal are wankers yes, but they are not all bad believe me.

They can guess, I mean.. They may well know who you are virtually, and unless you have links to other accounts (nothing is to say that is actually your personal details) then you're right in most cases but they are certainly hot on your tale if you dont know what you're doing.

You are all making this too complicated that it should. Keep it simple, separate cookies period. There's too many people with same fingerprint out there. Imagine if they ban all people having the same fingerprint. 50% of the population would be limited/suspended/banned. You guys are retarded.

You would be very surprised as to how pin point accurate your fingerprint is, read up on it if you dont believe me.

This is just a discussion, a speculation. In fact, its insulting to be called a retard when my expertise and experience far outweighs yours. I can just tell from your answer you think your IP and cookies are the sole factors you need to focus on.
