Default Poloniex is terrible

sent a few coins to these guys and have always had problems. now transactions arent even showing up. their support center is non-existent. no one responds to any of my tickets.

be careful if you ever use this exchange. money can disappear and no one will help you.

Coinbase isn't a whole lot better in my experience. Coinbase's status page (https://status.coinbase.com/) is the first time I've seen a website with so many outages that they have a dedicated page to tell customers which services/pages are currently down and which are working. I've never had to deal with them but I've heard from many sources online that CB's customer service is also terrible. For Coinbase, and probably Poloniex, a lot of it has to do with them being new companies who are simply getting more traffic than they can handle due to the recent explosion of interest in crytocurrency. I'm a trained IT guy but I would seriously hate to work for either of the two companies. Just too many things going wrong constantly lol.

Is that the only online exchanger you have used.

I dont use them because it took forever for them to verify my ID. And they wanted a passport when they finally got around to me. They didnt accept my state issued license has ID, WHAT!!!

Too much traffic than anticipated or they are doing some shady sh*t behind the scene hence the outages.

I wouldnt do tier 3 just yet. Stay at tier 2 if its working for you. Tier 3 wanted passport and not a state ID.

Have you withdrawn with them and do you get hit with a overseas deposit at your bank.
