What are the best docs for lifting the EU limit and is it better to send them scanned or take a photo of them with your camera? Passport vs drivers l. vs. ID? If you post an ID with the address on it, do you still need to submit a separate proof of address? Can you submit a mobile phone bill as a proof of address? Is it better to submit a bank statement or a utility bill? Please share what your experience has been with lifting the EU limit.

I appreciate your answers, smartguy and Hipens. Have you made any EU accounts and if yes, do you post the proof of address in English or in the local language?

If you provide a proof of address for a UK account it would b expected for the address proof to be in English

I actually meant the exact opposite - having a mainland EU account with a proof an address in English instead of the respective local language. Would that be a problem or it's actually preferable?
