eBay issued a return to a buyer with a case.
Yesterday a buyer opened up a "request" against me. Doesn't even message me or anything, just opens a request.
Reason being, the tracking number for his item said delivered and he never got it. I replied to the request saying I would figure out the issue as fast as possible and ask the post office in the morning. (It was 6pm yesterday) this morning before I can even go to the post office, he opens up a case.
The case was closed 13 minutes later by eBay.
The message I got was this.
"Hi XXXXXX,
eBay opened a case because of an issue with an item purchased from you. We reviewed the case and have decided to issue the buyer a refund of $XX.xx without any impact to you.
This case is now closed. You are not required to reimburse the buyer or eBay, and this case will not be counted in your seller performance evaluation.
You can view the details of the case in the Resolution Center."
So eBay refunded the buyer and I still keep my funds?
