Arrow Is this strategy viable?

I have recently had 3 accounts limited within the space of a week, I noticed that I can still sell on the accounts and the ebay's linked have good feedback.

I am thinking of absolutely rinsing the accounts for thousands for however long PP let me and just accepting that my business wont see any of the money for 180 days at least.

The items I sell are generally £100+ (all legit) and I realise it will take me a while to build accounts up again - so I was thinking of also setting some stealth accounts up with the sole purpose of getting limited and using them as an unlimited account for however long as I can?

Thanks!

Expensive and slow return on investment. That plan works better on Amazon being 90 days and more issues for many people.

If you keep on getting limited, the smarter option is to figure out what you are doing that paypal does not like and fix that because as of right now, whatever you are doing is not working.

If they are stealth accounts then don't automatically assume you will be able to withdraw money after 180 days. Unless you can provide valid ID paypal UK will often not release money even after 180 days so bear that in mind before activating the rinse cycle

As for still being able to sell on the limited accounts, why would they stop you from selling, every extra £ into your limited paypal account is another £ they can keep for at least 180 days and possibly never release it so proceed with caution...

As mentioned, the issue is if they are stealth accounts you may have issues trying to withdraw after 180 days.

Wow didn't realise people were having issues after 180 days!

Currently, have £3k in stealth accounts limited till December, haven't read of anyone having issues - is it really that prolific?

Thanks for the responses anyway, guess we have to review our stealth.

It's more and more common, mainly just on paypal UK from what I gather.

There's quite a few threads about it if you use the search function for some light reading.

Currently have around 3 accounts which have passed the 180 days hold, yet they don't want to release funds. All documents have been sent yet they still don't want to release funds. One account has gone 10 months now...

Jesus! Sorry to hear that, is the reason they are stating ID related?

Will definitely not sell any more of these accounts and just hope PP release the funds.
