Walmart Visa gift card won't pay my negative balance? advice plz

Sorry if this has been discussed already.

One of my pp accts has a negative balance of $19 bux. I am trying to pay it off using a $50 walmart visa gift card which has been registered online with the same info the pp and ebay accts have.

pp keeps giving me this message for about a week now:

"The PayPal site is currently experiencing technical difficulties with our credit card processor. We are working to solve this problem as quickly as possible. If you would like to use your credit card, please return to the PayPal website later to complete your transaction. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

I thought about using the bank acct that is tied to this pp acct, but I'm not so sure I should do that.

Should I use the bank acct, get a dif. card, or what?

You should use a card that says it works in the credit card section. I use Vanilla Visa's and Simon's, those two have always worked for me. Are you in the U.S?

yes I am in the US. And yes, I usually use the yeloow vissa gift cards from walgreens. Guess I'll go pick up another one.
