Default Need help with dongle?

Just moved to an area where there is limited 3G/4G so my '3' dongle I currently have doesn't work anymore since the network isn't great. I have entered my postcode into one of those network coverage checkers and none of the ones it offered seem to be able to work in my area. I need a dongle (or something similar) for my stealth accounts so any ideas? Any other things you can use?

I have sky wifi which works great but for all my other stealth accounts I need a dongle or something like that.

If you have no coverage a dongle isn't really an option

You can use Sky but they sometimes have a sticky IP

Have you looked at a VPN?

A few networks work in the area (so I've heard) so I need to figure out which ones.

I really have no knowledge on VPN, do you recommend any for this?

No they are not

If you want to be totally sure which the best dongle for you is then pop to a shop, but a load of different dongles, stick £5 on each one. Tether of each SIM and see which works best for you

Why is it more people don't use VPNs? Just looking at some of the different websites and they seem pretty good a little too good to be true though? And it seems using a VPN would work out cheaper than paying for dongles. I'm assuming they must not be as good as they make out to be if more people use dongles?

I will buy a few different dongles and give it a go but the main ones don't seem to get service here.

People generally want a very cheap solution when it comes to IPs

A decent VPN that wont get you suspended as soon as you use it costs about £80 to £100 a year

The very cheap VPNs are just no good

Yeah well my dongle costs me around £10-£15 a month so that would work out cheaper anyways if its just as reliable

The difference being that 1 dongle can run 4/5 accounts whereas 1 VPN is needed per account

It means that if you run say 3 or 4 accounts it does work out more expensive BUT it is IMO the best option even though it does cost a bit more

Oh yeah didn't think about that part.

Was just thinking can different network sim cards be used with a 3 dongle if its unlocked? That might save me a bit of time and money just buying the sims instead of buying a bunch of dongles? Sorry for all the questions!

I have no idea... Never tried

If you really want to use a dongle then just use your mobile. Turn it into a hotspot and test out a few SIMs

It may be that you don't get any signal, but that is the best way to work it out
