Hi everybody. If I provided all the documents confirming the identity of PayPal when I created the PayPal stealth, I will ask for my documents after 200 sales or not?

If youre talking about a US based account you will be asked for your SSN or EIN once you hit 200 transaction and $20,000 in sales. There is no way around this and since it is a stealth account you will not have the SSN (unless you engage in identity theft) and since youre in the US you will not have the ability to provide an EIN either...

Youre the 'man' Im told by many

I bought an aged Stealth Ebay & Paypal account 500 items/25K monthly limits. The account had 15 feedback or so 60 days+ old. I listed slowly the first month and havent drawn any 'red flags' . Everything going smoothly .I Have account up to 53 feedback 100% positive. However, I received notices from Paypal asking to enter SSN or EIN (& upgrade to a business account). Right now I can still withdraw funds but I cant accept any more payments to this account until I update this information. Ebay buyers cant pay me for items to this paypal account (Only about 3 or 4 items total right now) Obviously I dont have the SSN for this account. Would I be able to obtain an EIN and enter that in lieu of the SSN ? Im in California and the account has MA. address,etc. Would the EIN need to be set up in California or MA or does it not matter ? Would the EIN need to have the current name on the account as part of the business name? IE Joe Schmos Comics & Cards? Any expertise you can share would be greatly appreciated.

PS The reason why I bought a 500 item /25k monthly limit account is so I could list more items and work my way up to a larger monthly gross total.

From what I know the state in which you register the business to get an EIN makes no difference. The name of the business also doesnt matter. What you need to do is make sure the EIN business name and the business name you use on the paypal account once you upgrade to a business account - are a match.
I dont have too much experience with EINs myself (I prefer to split my sales across multiple accounts rather than add an EIN myself) so if any other user has any info to add (or correct anything I wrote above) please do so.
