PayPal Remoeved European Account Limits?

with any unverified account you will you have no limits...

let's hope it is not just a glitch

In European Union we have that 2500 euro / year... now it seems they removed it.

for me its still there.. reached around 2200€ few months ago and they asked för verification..just checked still asking for it..

i think glitches can randomly happen to accounts.. globally. I have one current US paypal that i cant even explain.. I was expecting it to get limited right away and just 180 day out after I got to 4800usd in there and then the impossible happened... somehow about 80% of payments received were instantly available and account didnt get limited even after taking 4800 over 30 days on a one week old account. I havent tried to withdrawl yet tho and im gonna let the money post up in there for 30 days from last sale and see what happens and withdraw $5 . fingers crossed

If the account is not verified with a CC/BANK ... the sending limit is still there, but no receiving limits

It will be a glitch or the site is being upgraded - don't get too excited. Those accounts will still have receiving limits, even if you can't see them currently.

If the receiving limit has been lifted then that "view limits" page isn't visible at all and the page just refreshes.

If you don't believe me, try receiving over £2200 into such an account and let us know what happens.

It may of course not be a glitch. The other possibility is that they will now only request documents when the account reaches 1800 euro (£1650) ie the receiving limit will appear on the account when you pass this amount and the normal procedures will be required to lift it.

Either way there is a distinct difference between the accounts you are describing (and I have got as well) and an account that has the receiving limit actually lifted.

They now have a new text also for accounts that REACHED 1800+ in the past. They do not mention about EU legislation to ask documents at 2500 euro at all. They just changed into a normal limtiation asking for docs to verify the identity.

I have made that experiment, one account got limited(received 2500+) and I'm asked for documents-ID and bill, and on the 2nd one (received 1800+) received a warning message only.
Let's hope it is a glitch so we will not have to do evidence of the received amount by our self.
At least they made us happy for some time )

After 1800 euro they will keep sending you alert e-mails. Seems they will still limit at 2500 ...
this way you can't send docs before reaching the 1800 euro limit...

I am having the same problem here. I've created over 10 stealth Paypals previous but recently to lift the limits there is no option to upload identification or address confirmation just link a bank account but then as you approach the 2500 euro limit you will get numerous emails stating they want your information?

Does anyone know the outcome once you upload all of the requested information to them? I uploaded but am still receiving the same message and emails?

Found this thread, and it seems to be the only discussion on inhernet regarding this issue.
I have noticed the same thing quite a while ago. Obviously, the limits are still there, and PayPal will still limit the account when 2500 Euro is reached. I just received a warning alert for reaching 1800 Euro in my account. The concern is, of course - how to track the amount remaining until the account gets limited? It is nearly impossible to calculate that ourselves. Is it just a temporary glitch though? Maybe someone contacted PayPal support on this problem?

I can confirm also 6 of my stealth accounts are having the same problem... I click to view limits and there is nothing there?

I have also passed £1600 on several of them with no problem... not entirely sure whats going on.

I work with UK accounts. So not sure if its a multi country glitch or strictly UK.

It is very simple. Just go to "Activity " , reports...and check ..."2007" , "or pat 90 days" or a date range.

Any more updates on this situation? Have you got over the £2500 limit on any of the accounts?
