Anyone using dial up to get around MAC address tracking?
I'm reading through the Amazon Ghost book and it mentions a good way to get around MAC address tracking is to use a dial up connection. Just wondering if this is widely used or if this is here as a relic of the book's original release.

Re: Anyone using dial up to get around MAC address tracking?
Welcome to the forums gsm113. I use dial-up for both eb and amz - dachilla indicated that there is no need to use dialup at all, that's true and for mac address tracking, there is none as well.
I just use dial-up because of the variety of country IP that are accessible - slow load-up times though
