Linking debit cards to paypal

Hi
I am having a go at ebay stelth and have nearly got there ie new ip - new bank account - gmail - user account however if i do decide to go ahead there is one thing that bothers me .......my new bank account is obviously in my name so when I do link it to paypal would ebay discover this as being a name I have used before ?

PayPal and banks do not share the name

The name on your bank account doesn't matter

Your thread title mentions debit cards but you are asking about adding a bank account - there is a big difference between the two.

As James has said, Paypal cannot see the real name on the bank account. When you add the bank account to Paypal (sort code and account number), use the stealth name.

PayPal is not going to see the name associated with the bank account.

Bank you will be using has to accept mismatched names withdrawals since money will be witrdawn with a different name.

Search in the forum suitable bank names has been specified

Thanks for that james so am i right in thinking that i can use any name on linking my card on paypal / ebay ? but wouldn't I have to use my home address that is matched to my bank / card etc ? wouldn't my new ebay account be banned because of this ?

What exactly are you wanting to do???

Add a debit card OR add a bank account??

well both really as Ebay do require to link a debit card before you can sell on ebay I beleive james ?

You can add a bank account using the sort code and account number

The card is a totally different thing and you cannot add that on a stealth account, its why we use VCCs.

You also don't need to add a debit card to the ebay account either. The Paypal account can be used for this.

Would this cause any issues if i was to add a credit card to ebay?

Im not stealth. Just got everything new in place. I was just thinking it may help towards getting my selling limits lifted.

Its happened before on an old account. I had 10/£600 on the day i opened the account and by the time i had finished i got upgraded to £100/£1000 that same day. I cant remember what exactly i done that they extended that bit trust to me though.

Sorry to jump on this old thread ( I am a noob at stealth and a bit of an old dog for new tricks) I have been permanently suspended from ebay, paypal seems ok as far as I can tell?
If I use the same bank BUT make a new account will this work? My bank is easy to set up new accounts online but will still have my name and address attached obviously.
