Default PP negative, eBay above average

My eBay seller account is in great standing with several hundred positive feedback at 100%.

I fell for a gift card scam where the buyer pays with credit card and uses chargebacks to keep both the items and money. I refuse to pay Paypal for it because it passed their 24 hour security review for each transaction.

Do I need to do anything with my eBay account?
Can I link a new Paypal account or should I just leave it? I don't use eBay much now.

they'll pull money from the bank account if your account went negative.. also expect issues to occur in the near future.

Nothing you can do, paypal will take the money back any way they can, including trying to charge your attached bank or credit card

I'm confused, how exactly did PP screw you over? How is this not YOUR problem?

YOU sold it, YOU took the money, YOU got paid, YOU got cheated... PP's job isn't to prevent you from doing stupid stuff, and it's NOT their job to assure your transaction is prudent - it's their job is to process the funds transfer.

Now there's two scamming thieves - YOU and the person who stiffed you.

Your justification is 'PP didn't keep the buyer from stealing from me, so it's okay for me to steal from PP'.

And given your apparent inability to see what you're doing right now is wrong, I'm wondering if the person who you claimed cheated you really did...

Are you freakin serious right now?? If you're not going to help the op then don't comment. Go kiss Paypal's ass somewhere else.
