IRS limiting how many EIN's you can apply for online
I thought I could apply for 1 a day online but when I went to the IRS website I found this.
We cannot process your application online if the responsible party is an entity with an EIN previously obtained through the Internet. Please use one of our other methods to apply. See How to Apply for an EIN. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Am I just missing something?

LMAO. You addressed literally none of the questions asked.
@OP - The 1 EIN per day limit is still accurate. You're misinterpreting the error message you're getting from the IRS website. You aren't able to get a new EIN with another EIN as the responsible party using the online application. To do that you'll need to use a lawyer or mail in a paper application to the IRS. (Legalzoom can be used to create a new company with an existing company as the responsible entity)
If you replace the EIN you're using on the application with an SSN, you won't get that error message.
