Default Need your help!!!!!!

Canadian Buyer bought an item last July.
All of a sudden they open a "Unauthorized transaction" case in paypal. Item has been delivered since July. Is there anyway to win this? please help its a $700 item.

Have you got tracking showing delivery to the registered PayPal address?

provide tracking details/proof of delivery. I won almost all cases like this.

I've had a few of these chargebacks. Seems to be more than a few lately for expensive items.

If you have valid tracking with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION to the "Ship To" address you may be covered under PayPal's "Seller Protection". I was able to "win" 5 out of 6 of these claims, but even with that, there are no guarantees.

I win just about every chargeback when I'm able to give clear proof I did nothing wrong. I include screenshots of the original postage record (showing both ship from and ship to address + tracking), tracking results, PP sales record showing customer's address, any correspondence I've had with the buyer, and any other relevant stuff I can show them.

I won one recently on my merchant account by providing basically the same information. Cool being able to directly dispute a chargeback.

Anyway, in my opinion, it's not very hard to win these things if you've got all your ducks in a row. It's possible this buyer actually was scammed. But this is why seller protection exists. With the extremely limited customer info PP gives sellers we have no way of determining if orders are fraudulent or not.

I'd like to second what phaz0rz says above ^

Just send them the sales record, tracking results, and postage receipts/records, etc. If you do that, you have a very good chance at winning these cases just as I was able to most of the time. These were due to a rash of fraud orders where the account holders accounts were used without their knowledge.

The buyer messaged me through ebay trying to make a deal with me. I did not send it signature because it was not over $750

I believe eBay recommends signature on any item
Over 250.00. Good luck with the case ! Tracking proof and what the others have told ya should be enough.

If you have uploaded the correct valid tracking which shows the item has been delivered then nothing to worry. paypal will release the funds back to you. but have to wait a little bit more days because they are so lazy to give sellers funds. if you need to make things quick call to paypal only if you are sure about your paypal will not get limited for any other reason by calling

Tracking with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION is an absolute must if you are selling value goods on eBay. It's an extra couple bucks, but can mean the difference between winning or losing an Unauthorized Transaction case.

I had one through Stripe last year and uploading any info is worthless with them. They don't help out at all!

You just need to upload tracking to paypal and ask to apply seller's protection for you. You can call them to try and expedite the process, otherwise it will take a long time until you get back your funds.
