Hello, Everyone I am here for a matter, Because of US Customs. I need more information on why are they delaying so much when a package clears Customs.? I have a package coming from the UK and everything was going fine since October 3,2017 until it got inbound into customs on October 7,2017 and on October 8,2017 (it got inbound out of Customs).. And today is October14,2017 and it still has not updated at all
I opened an early inquiry on this I personally thought it was going to work faster wrong not fast at all It is still the same.. My question is why it hasn't updated when it cleared customs on Sunday October 8,2017..And Yes it is registered mail Coming from The UK I need to sign it upon Arrival to my home.
But my question is why are they holding it for there is nothing very Valuable in there for them to hold it that long..The package contains a plush bear only and a plush bear is a toy.. Wth is going on with them people there.. I pay for my services they don't.. So why are they holding the package for quite sometime now..? I bought this through Ebay though.. The seller assures me that I will receive it soon but how soon..? I am new to this and so far this is what I am experiencing with US Customs.

USA customs can take forever sometimes to get it out of their facility depending on what shipping service he used. I wouldn't be worried you will receive it soon, or you will receive a letter about the item being seized in a week or two (unlikely though with your description of what was in the package)

Drug dealers like to smuggle their products into the USA in teddy bears, throw pillows, kids toys, etc.
It's possible your shipment was held for a closer inspection. Even after a shipment officially "clears customs" it can be stopped anytime for a closer look. Usually takes them about a week to complete the process. If there's nothing wrong with the shipment then you should have it soon.
