Activity: 0% Longevity: 37% | | Suspended account with funds still in it. Well over 90 day holding period
On 18/7/17 my amazon seller account was suspended for being deemed not an 'individual' seller. I still had a few hundred pounds in the account and was told that it would be disbursed to me after the 90 day settling period had finished. It has now been 120 days since the suspension date and nothing.
The 90 day period ended on 18/10/17, it is now 17/11/17 and I STILL have received no payment.
I have called amazon customer services, emailed seller performance and payments investigate, written a letter to Amazon merchant credit department(instructed to by phone seller support) and written emails to managing directors about this.
The phone team have always said that they would pass it onto the specialist department and they would call me back, however I have had no calls back to this date.
Seller performance just ignores my emails, same with payments team.
I was told that my funds would be wire transferred to my account when I sent the letter with my bank information to the credit department. It has been 2 weeks and still nothing. (was told it would be instant).
Surely this is illegal if they are refusing to pay me my own money, well over the 90 day holding period to cover A-Z charges. The lady on the amazon seller support phone line confirmed my account and could see that the funds were still in my account as she repeated the amount to me.
At this point I don't know what else to do and don't really want to take them to court but they are holding my hard earned money in their system.
What can I do? Any help is much appreciated

In the same boat. It stinks. Only £1000 in my account.. already well over day 120 and still not paid. Numerous promises that they are dealing with it. Very shabby behaviour from Amazon.

Contact payment investigate.
I did contact them three times after passing deadline for too long. In one occasion, they released the fund. In the other two, they said that there is no balance (or even negative balance) because of charge-backs and A-Z dispute (I have no means to verify the claim).
But they always respond.
Btw, I was talking about Amazon US site.

try emailing payments-funds@amazon.com from the email account that is associated with the amazon account...they are piss poor in communicating within the teams.

P.S. can someone share Contact payment investigate e-mail adress?

Hi
thanks for your replies, I've since emailed the payments investigate team and the payment funds team, all to no response so far.
I have also tried emailing jeff@amazon.com in the hope that someone in that department has more power and can sort my situation out quicker. I have not yet had a response, I will post any responses here

I think they wont release payments unless you email amazon payments for them to do it manually because they no longer do payouts for suspended accounts.
Its been over 30+ Days and no response at all to release my funds I have over 600$ in it as well

When ya’ll signed up to use Amazon, that means you agreed to their T&S.
By doing that, Amazon are allowed to do anything. |

Okay I don't generally help you amazon guys, as some of you just ruin it for the rest of us and try to make it like ebay, hence why Amazon is so strict now. I'll will however tell you what theyre doing and what you can do.
6 accounts suspended within a space of a year, with
$5000, $6000, $5000, $1300, $1000, and $600
When they first rolled this out I began with $5000 not being disbursed after 90 days.
Contact payments-funds , seller-performance, and jeff No word from the first 2, after several messages jeff email responded " I added I will contact a lawyer if i don't get this resolved" 2 days later i received an email from a rep, and after 5 day received my funds in my account.
2nd, 3rd, 4th accounts no response after dozens of emails, and even phone calls. If you read the new suspension message, it states if they believe you're a pirate they'll hold you money permanently. Now remember, by law they have to give that back to the state the amazon account was signed up with. generally takes a few years. Of course it'll probably still stay with jeff while he earns interest, hence in the news that jeff is now one of the richest people
remaining 2 accounts were suspended because of bad performance, slow shipping etc, and I did see they tried to disburse of one of the accounts with $600 but it hasn't come into my bank yet, haven't bothered to check if I could login to amazon to see what's up., which leads me to the next points, and i'll go through them quickly.
If you amazon gets suspended, you MUST appeal, do your best to get it open again, if you do get the money and trash the account or sell low.
You have 3 tries to get the appeal right,, or they'll block you from receving messages from you
you have 2 weeks to appeal, or your ability to log into that account will be blocked.
There is another email they now start using, and perhaps if we email that might be fruitful, but i have been too busy to try, I'll post the email later, but it's something like amazo5.
the last account with $1300 got suspended because of authenticity complaints, appeal failed, but before they block the account, i figure what the best thing to do. messaged all 200+ customers, refunded all customers total of $12000 and told them in a professional letter, you've been refunded due to amazon being a D**k, sent them an image file with my paypal email and told them to send payment there(not pdf, as amazon picks up email address and removes them). I also refunded them more than they paid, eg. customer paid 1000, i refunded them 1000, then refunded again with 20% extra told them that for their help. Been receiving payments on a daily basis. I will do this with any accounts that get closed now, even if it only holds a dollar, i will refund everyone, tell them to send that payment to paypal.
final note, make sure you use a stealth account, make sure you don't have a real card in there . And remember, it's best to refund those guys, rather than giving all that money to jeff. Teach them a lesson on fking with our money.
that's all folks

that's all folks | I managed to get suspended once on one account due to appealing. But the 2nd time I was unable to and was hit with "Amazon decided you may not sell anymore" Have you dealt with similar situations and is it possible to get unbanned or my funds held hostage? Is threatening with lawyer a valid method, if so I might send another email to seller support.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 37% | | Re: Suspended account with funds still in it. Well over 90 day holding period Jeff@amazon.com seems to be the only email that I get a valid response from. I was told that they would put my case on high priority and reply with updates to the disbursement, it has been a week and still no response or payment.
I tried emailing payments-funds@amazon.com, and all I got is that they couldn't find an amazon account with my email address even though it was the same one that got suspended.
I'll try threatening with legal services and see what I get from that. Also with ghost accounts, is it best to register a new bank account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name or just use my friends or family members bank details.
How do amazon actually link accounts to suspended accounts? If I registered a new bank account with the same name (I need to provide verification of identity to open the account), would they link the accounts just from the name being the same even though the bank details are different?
If I was going to use the same name I wouldn't put the full name when registering, just the initials or first name

Finally got payment last week. Don't give up. They will pay out if you make a proper pain of yourself (whilst always being civil of course).

Hey guys back on this thread, Is it actually possible to take Amazon to a small claims court because of this. I hear they mostly end up in settlement but at least they will finally pay attention to my emails and maybe even get compensated on top of the money they owe.
Does anyone have a link to the terms and conditions we signed up for when registering? Did they put something stopping them having to transfer us our funds after their 90 day holding period?

Amazon practice of not allowing sellers to cash out and the fact that Amazon processes all payments themselves is shady as ****. They ain't making profit lately, so they want to predate on people money.
It is funny how they say: "We might hold on your money permanently".
What kind of ****ing *******s are these!! They are no different than online thugs in my opinion.

Really old post but does messaging customers really work on suspended accounts? I messaged around 30 customers on a suspended account of mine to see if they would be willing to help and do this. Not a single person has replied back even though I got the email copy confirmations from Amazon.
Still trying to see if I could find a way to get my money released after getting this message. Quote:
We reviewed the information you provided and completed the review of your account. We have determined that your account was used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, and illegal activity and decided not to disburse any funds to you.
| Was suspended for selling a prohibited item which I appealed but was denied. Have read some posts on amazon seller forums where some say that they eventually release the money. I really hope that's the case, wouldn't mind waiting another 6 months or even a year as long as I get my money.

Hi
I just kept spamming emails to jeff@amazon.com.
His team is normally better suited to deal with more complex matters so this got resolved for me in the end.
Send a detailed email describing the situation and hopefully someone will get back to you
