Question Has anyone ever been suspended for posting on eBay's forums?

I've heard rumors the eBay suspends you for posting stuff they don't like in their forums, but I've only had posts deleted and been prevented from posting in their forums for a week, never account suspension.

Has anyone ever been suspended for posting on eBay's forums?

I STAY AWAY from eBay forums. Especially seller central. Posting is a invitation for people to check what ur selling and try and report you. And people on eBay forums are the biggest hypocrites.

I see a lot of elitist attitudes there. I don't like their forums.

Sometimes when I've posted there on posting accounts, everyone there demands to see my seller ID and items I post and refuses to help unless I do that.

I know people that had complained when the last big ebay fee hike happened and there was a big seller strike. I know several sellers that had been suspended after posting their opinions on ebay's forums. The sellers then posted their punishments on Youtube. Ebay found ways of suspending them. It was all very mysterious. First, they complained on the forum and then shortly after, they were gone. I would never post anything there. Why bring attention to yourself? Especially, if you have nothing good to say.

lasvegas68, hmmm... I wonder if eBay would do the same to some 0 fb brand new unlinked posting account or if they'd only do it to a seller account.

Nobody, those sellers would never be able to prove that's why they were suspended.

I believe in a short time Ebay will collapse under their own weight.........Doing these to the same people who helped grow them..............

I don't know, what's today Ebay bread & butter? BIg power sellers or circunstancial sellers? because they are alienating both !

There would be no way that a suspended seller could prove that. ebay seldom tells the real reason for a suspension....as many of us sadly know.

I truly hope they collapse. I really want to see some of the other auction sites start to flourish!

I don't think this will happen any time soon. Ebay is king and they know it. It's best to just abuse them by creating many stealth accounts, violating their retarded policies under the radar, and exploiting their site as much as possible. I hate Ebay but I love them to

Have you all ever considered just going in for the fun of stirring things up? Quite comical, actually. And good for the evenings when only re-runs are on TV.

I did some tests with 0 feedback accounts. First they remove your posts. If you keep at it, they give you a 7 day posting ban. If you violate it again, it's a permanent posting ban.
