Can I use my old facebook with 100,000 fans to promote my new store? or etsy realize from which facebook page the clients come? I know that etsy sees the clients that come from facebook, but I do not know if they see from which facebook page they come

It seems as if it would be an all too obvious link.
Can you funnel the leads through a third party or some sort of a redirect?
You need expert advice on this, but just wondering... for example, create a website with the old shop name, forward to a new site with a new name, and then automatically redirect again to your new shop?
Etsy can see the exact URL of where the traffic is coming from...so yeah that's not gonna work.
If you have a facebook with 100,000 fans....sell your stuff on facebook or make a shopify store. That seems like the logical thing to do. Why even worry about promoting etsy when you can continue to harvest your brand away from those clowns.
I have shopify shop more than two years ago, but the traffic that etsy has is amazing. in a month I was selling $ 6,000 because I was channeling the facebook clients and I have popular products that are very popular on etsy, for example, birthday costumes of 100% handmade characters. those pieces are sold all year round, the traffic of people that I take from facebook to shopify is much less than the one that etsy brings me.
I agree with Gladiator. However I wouldn't use Shopify but build my own online shop. I wouldn't give my followers on facebook away to etsy. You understand that you sell on a makretplace and in return for their fees you get the traffic. Why would you generate the traffic for etsy and pay fees on top of that?
I just mentioned Shopify as a lot of folks aren’t good with coding and building their own designs and payment portal. If they can afford it or have the ability absolutely make your own shops.
Sandram- If you can “cut” the items out you should do that. Put them on new backgrounds and what not.

we have a very nice store in shopify a few years ago, but the google engine for people to enter is a dilemma for me, people do not come alone to shopify, and 100,000 fans on facebook do not move much, many times I have done viral and we have sold a lot in shopify, but it is not the norm.
