Default Netspend

As you all may know the instant withdrawl feature on paypal is active. I was just wondering if netspend is eligible as an instant withdrawl feature or if there system doesn't deem it eligible..

I have a NetSpend card which tried to add to PayPal. I got message that said that type of card couldn't be used.

Since NetSpend is a reloadable prepaid card, I would doubt it would be supported.

There are alternate ways for instant withdraw w/o netspend, and you'd need a legit debit card for instant withdrawal.

Yea but netspend allows you to create virtual card numbers so you can add that to multiple accoutns

You were already notified earlier in the thread that it does NOT work.
From all indications this option works ONLY for legit cards from LEGIT banks. No prepaids, no gift cards, no virtual cards. They screen all of them quite easily using the BIN numbers.

NetSpend is a Metabank (virtual) product. Metabank has long known not to play well with PayPal.

As Slokor says above: Use a debit card issued by a REAL bank.

Examples are: Wells Fargo, BofA, Citibank, Chase, etc. Nearly all of those work fine for instant w/d option to be enabled.

As far as your creative process goes by calling each member a loser one by one.. have you tried to see if it works? Or will you wait until you're spoon fed the answer. I suggest you trying it out first, and even if someone has posted that it doesn't work, try it anyways. There's a correlation between you calling people losers, unknowledgeable or some other "insult" when they don't tell you what you want to hear.

This is ridicuous. Please test your methods, that's the best way to do things here.

I did test it, in fact I tried adding two different NetSpend accounts to two different PP accounts with the same results as previously indicated.

As Slokor stated previously, use a REAL bank instead for the instant w/d feature to work. It's that simple.

I know for a fact Wells Fargo, BofA, and Chase work because I have tried those debit cards and they work. Funds were in the bank literally within seconds after I pushed the "send money now" button.

I agree, the ability to create virtual accounts is nice. I did see that Citibank had that feature for their Credit Cards, but I have yet to see a "Bricks & Mortar" i.e. LARGE bank offering that.

Even so, I would expect PayPal to only allow debit card accounts they can actually verify before allowing instant withdrawal to them.

Some guy on here was claiming he was able to add instand w/d card to a STEALTH PayPal in stealth name. Has anyone actually been able to do that? If so, which bank/card was used? I have my doubts until proven otherwise.

Wells, BOFA and Chase are real banks. You've already demonstrated you can't get an account there.

If Netspend were a real bank you'd be blocked there too.

If this is the kind of wishing you do, I'm not surprised you're in the position you're in.

Incorrect hypotheisis regarding MM78.

Paypal blacklisted metabank & netspend. Think they also threw in Etrade.
