Seller Messed up Refund: NEED HELP
So I have been using the same company overseas for months and they have been awesome. We have a really good relationship. I ended up receiving the order I placed in mid December and it turns out there was a slight issue. We both agreed on doing a partial refund of 4k. I specifically told them to do a partial refund of the original payment from Paypal.
I wake up this morning and they told me they sent a refund. I check my Paypal account and they ended up sending me 2 payments (goods/services) of 2k instead. Besides the fees taken out, the main issue now is that it is in my Paypal Balance, not refunded to my card I used in Paypal. I contacted them and they said if this is a problem let them know (apparently the colleague that did this does not know much about Paypal)
What should I do at this point:
1. Refund those 2 amounts, and tell them to do a partial refund on the original payment made (which I will show them how).
2. Keep this the way it is and just transfer to my bank account.
Anyone have this issue before? Any input/advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
