Default If you pay a linked account, will they actually lift the limit?

Just out of curiosity, if you get limited because you have a linked paypal account for like 10 years ago with a -100$ balance, and you agree and pay it, will they actually remove the limit? Knowing paypal it seems likely they would just take the money and not restore the account. Anyone experienced this?

Any account potentially linked to a previously suspended/limited account may have similar issues. PayPal keeps records more or less forever, esp. when it comes to limited accounts with deficient balances.

If you get limited because it's linked to a different account, and you pay the balance on the other account, your account will still be linked.

The issue will not just be of the outstanding balance. It'd be more of why the 1 account was suspended in the first place.

If you haven't already, I recommend you study the stealth guide so this kind of thing doesn't happen anymore in the future.
