Default Buying only account suspensions

Hi,
I have had two accounts that I created only for buying suspended. I followed the directions and opened a new buying account. What are the odds of another suspension. I don't ever sell.

Why were the buying accounts suspended? Since May 2009 eBay no longer suspends for unpaid strikes.

I got sick last November and got unpaid item strikes. I was in the hospital three times. I appealed the strikes and sent all the hospital information in. They would not reinstate my account. It was a buy and sell account.

I created two buy only accounts since then. They were both linked back to my original account. I followed the directions on creating an account here and changed everything.

I really need to buy as I opened a brick and mortar boutique and sell new clothing. Shelf pulls and overstocks from Macy's. I will do anything I can to keep a buying only account alive. I can't afford any more suspensions. I order constantly.

The suspensions were for being linked to the 1st account. Hopefully I have learned enough from reading and done everything properly and they won't link to the one I just created.

Make sure to change your ip and use CCleaner first and you won't be linked.

I checked my IP it is different. I cleared all cache and will try to remember to daily, as in making it a habit. I uninstalled anything that had to do with ebay. New name, address, bank info.

No need to clear cache or cookies daily. Use CCleaner before you make the account though.

It deletes cookies and flash cookies and is recommended to prevent linking. It can be downloaded at CCleaner.com

Then you must be using the same info. If you used CCleaner that deletes cookies and flash cookies. You clicked run CCleaner right? I'll send you a pm.

You have to use different information.

Clear your cookies/history/etc

Get a PO Box or ask to use a friends address or even make up an address.

If you use a made up address... before you buy, ask the seller if they wouldn't mind sending it another address. Most sellers don't care. Well some do and some don't depends. The more expensive the item, they do care.

Don't log into your old accounts for any reason or you will most likely be caught.

OTOH, with so many spies around, perhaps this should go to the subscribed forums?
