Default New Paypal Account

Q:

I know there is a withdrawl/transfer ( 500.00 mo ? ) limit for your paypal account, but can't you get the debit card in 60 days and withdrawl 400.00 per day at the ATM?

I think that limit is only on non-verified accounts

Here is the Catch-22

In order to get the debit card, you have to give them your info and as a result are busting yourself (if you have another account that they have the info for)

I might be a bit naive, but why not just register a bank account, do daily or weekly transfers to it and use the BA's debit card?

At a clip of $400/day I'd feel a lot safer knowing my $$$ is in the vault at by bank downtown than off in cyberspace with PP perhaps never to be heard from or seen again.

As I said in another post I thought I read somewhere that EB doesn't take Google CO? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Even if they don't allow it in a listing, I suppose you could always offer to accept Visa/MC and then do the transaction through Google CO. Only problem is if there is a problem and somehow it gets back to EB and Google CO is not allowed, you would be in violation of your EB user agreement and goodbye to another acct.

Maybe they allow Google CO, but just don't allow for a way to easily put it into your listing.

well if its another merchant account option and you tick it who is ebay to say you cant use google... you just cant have the google check out button in your listings, but you can use it to pay for auction cause i use it to have customers pay for ebay all the time. just send them an invoice later.

After 12 years and 30,000 feedback on ebay I can tell you for a fact, you take out paypal and your sales will drop considerably. I tried it, then got tons of emails about if you don't take paypal I wont buy, if you only take money orders I won't buy and it was true, are you trying to rip people off not taking paypal?
I got them all. Ebay has done a great job of forcing buyers to use paypal so they can feel protected, but then screw over us sellers.

I tested it for a week and my sales went down more then 70%.

Believe me buyers use paypal like they do us sellers.

Q: Is the daily withdrawl still 400.00 to transfer to a checking? Isn't there a monthly limit?

I never had to do anything to get a debit card, only wait 60 days and apply.
I have never heard anyone ever get turned down for the debit card. ??

Like anything else, it depends what you sell, time of the month, economy, etc. I've seen no difference on some things and a hella difference on others.
