Default Paypal encouraging my business

Paypal placed rolling reserves on my account back in October of 2017. Rolling reserves is 20% of all sales are withheld for 6 months! And then released! I of course stopped using PayPal even though I never fuked anyone over(100k++) in sales.
PayPal reached out to me today apologizing for the reserves and encouraging me to do business with them again(my sales were roughly 10-15k monthly but after the rolling reserves it went straight to 0)
Looks like PayPal is looking into their history to welcome back good sellers?

Large transactions. Refunds. Imperfect credit. Who knows. I personally dont think the lady knew how to handle my account properly. I've spoken to 2 reps and they all thougt it was extreme.

Rolling reserves are typically for sellers they deem higher risk. The idea behind it is to ensure there will be funds available in the account at all times in case of disputes/chargebacks/claims from buyers.

Both holds are rolling reserves can be implemented by PP at any time based on account history, recent sales changes, or cases.

Yeah, then once you start selling again they'll re-impose the rolling reserve again.

I hope that's so.

Bots are amazingly consistent: push button A, get response B. Every time without fail A=B.

That's why they couldn't over-ride it, the response is hardwired in.

As when your account goes to risk management ( who decide rolling reserve) they normally Pull the person credit file to findout how risky person is

So if your account was stealth it must be failed

Then the reserve stays.

You have to try to sell to get rid of thereserve.

Don't forget that PP also can place holds and reserves based on source of payment - a.k.a BUYER's funding source
