Lightbulb MC0124 Verifying your eBay account - Some Tips for Account restricted

Hello everyone on the forum,
newb stealther right here!!
Thanks in advance for the helpfullness of your answers

I work with an italian eBay standard account, if it's a matter of importance, and here's a summarized translation of the email i received.
_____________________________________________
OBJECT: MC0124 Verifying your eBay account

To maintain the security and trust of the eBay market, we regularly review accounts and check the information provided by users. Our goal is to ensure that your account information is valid and up to date.
To enable us to validate your account, it is important that you provide us with the necessary documents as soon as possible. Pending your response, we have applied a temporary restriction to the sales activity for your account.

1. Identification documents:
2. Proof of ownership of items offered for sale on eBay:

As soon as we check your account information, you can start selling again. You can also put items back on sale in your unsold folder by clicking on Put them back on sale on the right side of the advertisement.
__________________________________________________ _____

This ebay account doesn't have real ID information and I'm not in posses of proof of ownership such as invoices or supplier ID.

My guess is:

a- I didn't wait the suggested 30 days after the account creation, starting the listings after a few days, and this lead to my account being "exctracted" in their usual sample controls

b- someone that works in my product niche reported my products and this attracted a VERO intervention on my account.

I sell original products, mostly cover and accessories for smartphones (20ish Dollars value)

I have some questions on how to behave in my situation.

1) I won't send the information requested, I don't have any, so what is the better course of action for this ebay account?
I can close the account through ebay account settings or I can just leave alone the account and forget forever about it.

Note that I have another eBay account that sells a different category of items and I managed both accounts through the same IP: this other account is a more older and established one, I respected the 30days-wait, and never had a problem.
Sadly at the beginning of my adventure I was ignorant about issues like the one I'm facing right now and I made this stupid same-IP mistake.

2) Are there any FREE valid listings managers that hide your IP from eBay to avoid account linking?

3) Does paypal provide information to ebay?
If more than one ebay account is linked to the same verified paypal account, will an ebay suspension link together all other accounts on the same paypal?

4) from various thread on this forum I understand that using a different phone&SIM for each ebay account equals to the use of different IP per account, thus making impossible for eBay to link one to each other.
Am I correct?

Thank you for the help and any kind of suggestion you will throw at me :D

You are in big trouble and yes both your accounts are linked.

They are both going to be gone soon. Time to learn stealth.

Hi, here below a few answer:

1) no need to close the account but you have to pay outstanding fees if any. You used their service you pay the fees this is my way of thinking.

2) leave tricks alone. If you are operating an Italian account any private internet connection where you can change IP will do (Internet key, phone thetering, home ADSL).

3) absolutely yes!!

4) no need of different phones. Different SIMs will have different IPs but this is not the only rule to follow... I guess you have the stealth guide... right?
point 2 above works nice for the IP.

I second ilcarletto, you do need to start with the stealth guide at this point.

Then come back in here to ask more question

Yes, I have read the guide but I agree some of the questions I asked were already in the guide :\
I found 'em when I read it again the 3rd/4th time so much infos inthere!!

One last question that is popping in my head costantly...

Logging in with a "fresh" IP, should I remove the one paypal account attached to these ebay accounts that are most likely compromised?
or this "move" would attract even more attention to them and I should just leave them be and move on with new stealthed ones?

Thanks for the help guys

If you have the guide, use the code in this forum to get a free 6 mo VIP.
Plus your profile will show that you actually have the guide.

Leave all those accounts alone and start fresh with the eBay Stealth.
Do not cross reference them one single bit.

And yes, I know... lots of info, just take your time and keep asking questions.

My advice would be to start with low cost items in the 10 dollar region, and ensure they are unbranded. Best way to get an account rolling.

Anything with a brand can pose risk to an account, especially when you start selling right away.

Understood, thank you for the tip Play! Much appreciated.

Does it make a difference to eBay and its "Inspectors" if I put the brand name in the item description and not in the title?
Or is it a warning flag for them no matter where you put it?

Can be a warning flag wherever you put them - bots can pick them up.

From my understand, eBay bots go through description as well as title.

Even if the bots didn't, a manual human review would.

So early days, just list safe items.
