Default What's a good limit brand new

What's a good limit per item/week on a brand new account? I understand you should sell something low risk like a book or unbranded pet supply's(no health supps or food ) but the limit confused me.

I was told no higher then 50$ but then some say no higher then 150 then others say 100 and so on.

What do you personally know from experience is a good range to stay in? Obvously I want to push as much as I can.

Why do you want to push it?

$100 first month
$250 2nd month
$500 3rd month

Increasing at that pace indefinitely until you get where you need to be.

Books are not low risk.

Agree, that's pretty safe.

The more accounts you have the less this will hurt you as you wait as your accounts mature but it's better to be safe than sorry.

It really all depends on your category, then the item itself, then the brand name and if it is new or used etc...

It also depends on account creation and how fast you ship, upload tracking, get good reviews.
to $50
I like safe items that are used and never have a problem that are a few hundred dollars for the first item, but nothing that will ever cause a problem. If you start with $10.00 items and then go up $50 or $100 down the line, you can get that dreaded "significant change" email with doc request.

@OP, also don't rely on just one account - get multiple accounts going on a nice rotation schedule

Is it possible to avoid this ? May be selling $50 item only once a week ?

For me, it is to have a mixed value of SAFE items to sell from the start.
