Amazon Phone Verification

-When you are trying to verify a phone number does ebay/paypal see the cell phone account holder's name? I will be using an old phone that was used on a suspended account, however, I will be changing the phone number. Will I have any problems being verify?

Changing phone number is fine - old phone characteristics don't play a part.

My further questions:
I just had a little more questions about this. They were obviously referring to Ebay/Paypal. Now I am asking the same thing, but in regards to Amazon. I guess I am more wondering if Amazon will ever have access to account holders names, phone IP's, phone MEID's, phone IMEI's, serial number, or anything else that can cause any possible problem in relation to suspensions due to related accounts (obviously talking about the cellular services -verizon- and the actual phone itself) I greatly appreciate all feedback and all valuable information regarding this. Thanks for your time and input.

Amazon won't have access to that phone info - are you ONLY using the phone for calls? Not browsing on account with Amazon right?

Understood, and thank you for the prompt response. And yes, I would be ONLY using this phone to verify my new Amazon seller account, calling Amazon support for any technical issues/questions, and possibly the two step verification processes when logging on. (This is where it sends a code to the phone listed on the account to verify that I am, in fact, the real account owner. - this usually only happens when it doesn't recognize a computer/IP) I would never log onto Amazons site from the phone at all. In your honest opinion, would buying SIM cards or buying a prepaid phone be a safer option? Thanks again for your time and help!

Also, I do trust and appreciate your opinion, but even I can do a simple phone number search on the internet and find the account holders name. That's why I am skeptical about just changing numbers, or is this something that shouldn't be worried about?
