Default Paypal is now Forewarning?

THIS IS A PRIORITY THREAD.
I received high sales this past weekend, as we know people like to spend on holidays. I went to withdrawal some of those funds BUT before I did Paypal indicated, "Please note before you make the withdrawal, due to security measures it will take up to 24 hours etc etc", you know the message you usually see AFTER a withdrawal is done. But this time I saw it BEFORE I withdrew.

I of course did not go through with the withdrawal as that told me I should let the funds sit there a while longer.

Not sure if anyone has received the same messaging....

I've never seen this before..its almost as if PayPal is........ DUN DUN DUN looking out for its sellers...lol

I have not seen that.. I have seen those 24 hour review messages AFTER a withdraw is initiated. I suspect however it is the same difference.

PayPal is just being proactive. It also depends how strong your PayPal account is I find. Some have soft limits on them while others do not. These seem to adjust all the time but we can't see them, only PayPal (If that makes sense)

They change stuff all the time, so the notification location in the process isn't really all that important.

In any case, it's a holiday weekend, and transfers are delayed accordingly.

This is account I would say is semi strong. Over a year and over 10k. Proactive to me means they are trying to ensure the funds are moved within an a reasonable amount of time...
I mean I'm happy to be forwarned.. Its almost like Paypal preventing a possible restriction...

They left me a voicemail a couple days ago. Sounds like they were trying to offer me something, but I don't speak broken-indian... so who knows what it was. lol

You'd think they would have a proficient english speaker do their calls like that. Weird.

I am ecstatic TRUST ME. I wish paypal would implement this on ALL accounts ALL the time, then there would be much less restrictions and limitations, honestly.
- Its almost like saying, "hey you might get restricted if you do XYZ" and of course we'd all slow down..
Well I guess im the one with this golden account...as usual...
thanks team

I dont follow you at all.

I mean, sometimes I get 72 hour transfers and have not had an account limited since 2015.

So they changed up the email, so what? How does this effect you in any way other than YOU are paranoid and will now allow paypal to hold your money voluntarily?

I am completely lost here. What am I missing?

It appears that at times in our successful ventures, sometimes more experienced veterans (like yourself) forget that although you have not faced any limitations since 2015 and I commend you for that, others do get limited for reasons like withdrawing funds to fast, receiving large sales too fast and other infractions...

And I will try to express this more clearly as it appears you are not following... I did not receive an email..Rather When I went to Withdrawal, and was at the LAST step BEFORE I confirmed the withdrawal, Paypal Noted "For security reasons it will take 24hours etc etc, Do you wish to continue?"
So Of course as any wise man would do, I clicked no..

I have close to 2k in sales just over the weekend... So please understand paranoia vs precaution ....Im surprised you as a veteran are lost..Aspkin understood right away..smh

I click yes every-time, everyday. Oftentimes it will say 72 hours when I withdraw 10k. Maybe I am not wise. I mean, who cares if it takes 12 hours or 72 hours and thank goodness they look out for my security on such transfers.

I do not at all in anyway understand. Oh well...

Paypal Noted "For security reasons it will take 24hours etc etc, Do you wish to continue?

Have to agree with Yankee. It's not new. It isn't some sort of secret code/warning or an enormous policy change that indicates PP suddenly CARES about you.

It means nothing but what it said - the transfer won't post to your account for 24 hours.

It does not mean that it will post to my account...I received the warning message before i withdrew, whereas we always receive the message after we withdrawal.

Well I have reason to be cautious, I had an account with 4500 limited in February....
