Ha ha- the 1 hr 45 min rule and the 2 day rule

Anybody notice how sometimes it takes only 1 hour and 45 minutes to get suspended after listing an item?

Sometimes it takes 2 days. Anybody know if this is due to different security measures that take different times to trigger??

It is the time-tested system of ebay constantly contradicting themselves.
I emailed someone who lost a auction on an item that I had and we agreed on a price. I was even honest enough to not take the transaction outside of ebay so I did a BIN for her, she bought it and I shipped it out that day.
Like a day later after the entire transaction was completed I get notice that I violated ebays "encouraging infringement" policy. I sold a watch box that they didn't claim was ⊗⊗⊗⊗, but could be used to pass off a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ watch as real!
When I received my notice I did a search and there were still about 30-40 of the same items, even with blank warranty cards, etc that didn't get pulled.

My motto here has always been,
THE ONLY THING CONSISTENT ABOUT ebay IS THEIR LACK OF CONSISTENCY
