XMR = Monero as the privacy coins hold a positive future outlook

Agree, XMR is the only legitimate cryptocurrency IMO. More will flock to it as people realize its 100% anonymous and 100% fungible and other coins which do not have this are inherently broken. I dont know how anyone is comfortable having all their transactions 100% visible to the public and not fungible, I cant wrap my mind around that.

Discounting every single other cryptocurrency out there because you have an issue with it not matching YOUR specific set of requirements? pretty narrow minded if you ask me...

Ya, different specifications, different requirements, different uses.
They all will have their place, assuming they find real adoption.

Before invesitng in any ICO or cryptocurrency, I'm looking for technologies and background of that Team/Company.

Right now I'm interrested in https://emercoin.com/en project and their currency. This company has a big technical background and they have such clients as Coca Cola. Not a long time ago they have signed a contract with a telecom company PortaOne and I believe that they will grow further.

There are really not a lot of teams/companies with a real value and really good tech background.

It all looks very new, yet they seem to be associated with some big brands already. Seems very shady.

Late to the topic. But small positions in Litecoin, Neo, Monero, and even things like Dash and Komodo hard to go wrong. BTC and ETH have to always be your main positions in volatile sector.

Wait some time for some more coin seizures, fungibility revocation, crackdowns, privacy concerns and violations, prosecutions from authorities on high profile individuals using non-privacy coins (bitcoin, etc) and you will see privacy coins (MONERO) gain more more market share. Tumbling coins is not a sure way to hide funds and everything you do is public. I don't see why anyone would be okay with their finances being public, especially businesses. People who say "I have nothing to hide" is a cop out, you still become a target.

I agree with Jamysm, Monero could be a good one to hold.
