Anyone know of a voip service in australia similar to gotalk?
Hi im currently looking for another service provider that can offer voip numbers similar to that as gotalk.com.au.
Ive currently got 2 numbers with them that cost 5bux each a month but everytime i need to sign one up they put me through the ringer and ask a million questions why i want more than one.
Is there anyone else that can help me here to choose a better provider even if its an international service that allows australian residents to sign up i dont mind as long as its cheap.
Thanks.

after seeing this i went to go talk.com, they have a $5 a month thing, but require a credit check where you have to enter you drivers license number etc, so i didnt continue...
does anyone have an alternative?
anyone pulled any tricks and just used a random phone?
ie: be on mobile phone with a friend while u stand at a desk of a small store, say your phone is goin flat and ask the attendent there phone number? tell it to your friend on phone, then hang up your mobile. Your friend enters the shops number and presses call on Ebay, the phone rings and you pick it up write down the number and pretend to talk for a few moments?
and for the record, Optus Pre-Paid mobiles dont work for verification
Yea, I also tried mobiles, on contract and all, they dont work! which is bull crap.
I have also thought of the random number thing... well there are plenty of other ways, i mean if they dont let u use ur mobile, and you dont have a landline, what do they expect? they can check the details on your mobile, so they say, so y not?
h- i didnt realise australian ebay was doing phone verification? ive never had this before.. i always use a prepaid cell phone sim card. i mean honestly i dont have land line. Ebay rules state that if you cant do phone verification then you just need to be at your computer to be verified. is this not the case anymore?
