Default CCNow Payments on hold??

I just started taking in ccnow payments and took in 2 transactions and the third one is being reviewed by risk management-- the first two I shipped and uploaded tracking info promptly but I can't even see the third payment yet (because ccnow rep said its being reviewed by risk management). What is all this about?? I never knew about this...

Does this happen often and how long does it take?

Where all 3 from paypal or just the last one? Yes CCNOW does hold funds for review.

Is $180 considered a lot on ccnow? If that amount of money will send a payment into review, I'll have to change my plans for this week a little. I just opened a ccnow account, and I was about to complete my first transaction through them for $1000 (paypal payment). Any insight?

no $180 is not alot. ccnow really doesn't get too crazy about the amount of money flowing in as they hold your cash for up to 45 days anyway to hedge against fraud (plus they want to make money so more money you make means more for them). they just monitior what you sell and the amount of claims.

So just out of curiosity, how much are all of you guys pushing through a single ccnow account for any given 15 day period on average? I just want to know how much is a safe amount before I start making more ccnow accounts...

just told you to move what you want to move as long as you are selling legit stuff. ccnow loves sellers and money but hates fraud.

Default You may enter "N/A" if there is no tracking number available.

CCNow advises on their website You may enter "N/A" if there is no tracking number available. It still works!

Default CCNow Holding Funds!

CCNow is currently holding $1,200.00 from me. It has been 2 payment cycles that I have not been paid. They didnt even bother to call or email me letting me know that the payments were on hold, until I started to realize that I was not getting paid and then emailed them. That is not good customer service.

They send me emails that dont make sense and say things that are really vague like "the accounting department is monitoring your payments and will pay you when they can." That answer is too vague for me.

I am now having my customers pay me with my secondary merchant account (thank god i have one!) Now, they will review my account on November 1st for a possible payment release? I sell electronics which has a higher return rate as well as fraudulent charge-backs.

If they had a problem with what I am selling, then they shouldn't have approved my account. I will keep everyone posted on November 1st with how this plays out.

I have a website that and decided to use ccnow as a payment system.... big mistake!! I had previously used PayPal but wasn't happy with them but it appears ccnow are even worse, if that's possible. As most of my business comes from people who use PayPal it followed that the first few orders were funded from PayPal accounts which raised issues at ccnow and subsequently my money was frozen indefinitely!
I made a complaint to Minnesota BBB who agreed to take on the complaint but after a couple of weeks without a response I decided to check up on the current state of affairs only to find that BBB had closed the case and used the term "beyond their puview". It seems that the complaint was answered by Digital River who managed to pass the buck by stating it was a vendor issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with ccnow because they have suspended my account with over $800 still in it and will not let me re-open it?

they are adept at fielding calls about if and when you will get paid out, however if they close your account, they usually pay out before doing so, so something is not right here....

have they said the money is frozen indefinately or are they just being vague/non-responsive.

cnow just locked my account permanently, they cited risk management

i sell in the US only, night vision gear, alternators, centrifuges, scopes, ect

when i pursued this with them they said i was selling prohibited items, and said the night vision was the reason

i told them most of that is sold locally and i would remove it all, they informed me that the account would remain locked permanently, there is money in the acct

i have always shipped stuff fast, and used sig confirmation, and have had zero complaints

Same thing happened to my account. Not one single problem. Had the account for a year and now it turns out i am high risk.
Have the money in the account. Not sure what will happen to the money.

Are they even still in business? The client log in page has said "Client logins are currently disabled due to system maintenance" for 4 days now. :-o

CCNOW reviewed one of my payments then eventually emailed me saying they were closing my account AND are holding my money for 180 days... just like paypal now.
