 Anybody else worried about Tax ID not resetting in 2019?
I am sure many of you have noticed the new way in which PayPal is notifying users about their Tax ID request once you come near their thresholds. There is now a red notification in the top right of the screen to warn you about the request as opposed to a more subtle blue notification that used to appear.
This may seem like a minor difference, but some weird stuff has happened on a couple of my accounts during this transition, such as the usual and expected thresholds not being met or coming close to being met before receiving my first Tax ID request.
Any change in regards to how PP is requesting Tax IDs from users begs the question: Anybody worried that in the beginning of 2019 we will no longer be able to sell on accounts that got a Tax ID request in 2018 for meeting the IRS thresholds in 2018?
Personally I can't help but be a little uneasy about it, but wanted to know what others thought.
